The 2026 Wellington Architecture & Design Trip was a fantastic day of inspiration, learning and career exploration for our students! Students explored significant local architecture, visited the renowned Isthmus Architects studio and met the architects behind the design of Te Ara Tupua–Pētone. The group also visited Victoria University of Wellington’s Faculty of Architecture and Design, where they toured the design studios and high-tech workshops. It was a valuable opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world design practice and explore future pathways in architecture and design.

Later that evening we held the Year 13 Architecture & Product Design Exhibition. The exhibition showcased the students designs they have developed and refined over the whole year.

Exciting times are ahead for our extremely talented Year 13 leavers, and the trip gave our Year 12s inspiration for thinking about their next steps.
