Do you work in Science? Does your job involve something to do with Chemical Reactions, Electricity, Human Physiology or Genes? Your school needs you.
Our Year 9 Maths and Year 10 Science classes have a unique opportunity to be involved in a programme in which we contextualise what they learn in the classroom with the world of work. This programme is called the Secondary School Employer Partnership (SSEP). Our Year 9’s had a successful 2025 with the SSEP programme, including businesses such TBI Health, Sky Stadium and Deloitte.
We are looking for more workplaces that can be involved in this exciting programme.
What does this involvement mean for you and your business?
Your input would consist of two in-school visits and one workplace visit. Onslow teachers and businesses work together to design lessons that engage the students and get them to understand the real world implications of their school work.
How can you help?
If you work in a business that uses chemical reactions, makes electricity or is involved in human physiology or genomics and you want to help local high school students learn about the real world in relation to what they learn at school, we would love to hear from you. Please get involved in shaping our students’ future!
