Last Tuesday six of Onslow’s Learning Support students attended a Coffee Career Day at MOJO Headquarters in Wellington. Head Trainer Katrina Roberts gave them an introduction to coffee and the roasting process, followed by coffee training on the espresso machine and learning how to make pressed coffee. Two Teacher Assistants Kirsty Walker and Hazel Dilger accompanied the students to support them with their practical and written learning.
All six students achieved Unit Standard: 17286 Level 2 2 Credits – Make Pressed Coffee.
