Kia ora koutou!

It was great to see everyone getting involved in this years Pride Week.

Pride Week was an amazing time for our kura because it brought our school together and celebrated each and every one of us! Our QSA group did a massive amount of work to plan and organise all the activities for our students. Throughout the week there were some amazing pins, facepaint and murals from our talented students. The whiteboard decoration competition between the ako classes was incredible, and made going to class much more entertaining! The karaoke and fashion show were extremely successful, with plenty of singing and remarkable outfits. Finally, the Colour Run on Friday was exceptional. With this being our first trial of it, so many people participated (even if that meant spraying people with colour instead of running!) and proved to be very successful even though it was held on a chilly Wellington day… Additionally, the bake sale was filled with delicious treats that were quickly devoured! Huge thanks to the QSA group – the week wouldn’t have gone ahead without your amazing mahi, and everyone who helped out, it was definitely a memorable one!!

We hope to see you all there next year!
