Onslow College has three Year 13 artists exhibiting in this year’s NZ Art Show. It is being held at TSB arena, King’s Birthday Weekend – 31st May to 2nd June. The students are Bladon Roe, Eser Armstrong, and Tessa Thornley.
All three are also finalists in the inaugural Hyundai Emerging Artist Award. Only 40 students were selected across the region for this award, which aims to encourage and empower emerging artists as they embark on their creative journeys. The students’ art work will all be on sale.
All three were selected to exhibit by Onslow College Teacher in charge of Art, Alex Murdoch, for dedication to their work, their creativity, and their constant passion to develop their craft.
We congratulate our Bladon, Eser and Tessa for being recognised as top art students from across the region, and wish them the best of luck for the award, and any sales they get!
