With all winter sports wrapping up for the season, there are a lot of amazing results to report:

  • Basketball
Wellington Division 2 Finals: this was a showdown against local rivals Newlands College, with our Senior A Boys securing the top spot winning 101 – 98!
  • Netball
Junior A: In their weekly competition held at Ākau Tangi, our Junior A team won Collegiate 1D for the season, beating St Cath’s in the final. How good!
Senior A – won their Division 3 final against Chilton 30 -25, so are Division 3 Champs! Division 3 is part of the College Sport Wellington Regional SS league, which includes Hutt Schools and schools up to Otaki. The Senior A also won the Prem Reserve 5 grade, which was against all Wellington Schools up to Tawa. Amazing mahi!
  • Football
Boys 1st XI – The Senior Boys 1st XI have retained the Wynton Rufer Challenge Trophy after first winning it at the end of the 2025 season.
The trophy is awarded to the team that records a win against another school at their home venue. Following their promotion to the Trevor Rigby Premier Division, the 1st XI remained undefeated in all home matches throughout the 2026 season. Their final home game saw them defeat Rongotai College 4–2, securing the trophy for another year. A great achievement for the team and a fitting way to finish the season.
Girls 1st XI: The Premier 2 (Onslow Cup) finals: Onslow College 1st XI beat the WGC second XI 3-0 for third place in the Onslow Cup playoff. Congratulations!
  • Ultimate Frisbee: There were 3 Onslow teams in the College Sport Wellington Indoor Ultimate weekly competition, aptly named: Unpredicta-bull, Unstoppa-bull and Unbeata-bull!
    – ‘Unpredicta-bull’ lost in the final of A grade/Div 1 to Wellington College A
    – ‘Unstoppa-bull’ came 4th in A-Grade/Div 1
